Maturing March.

Hey everyone,

What a whirlwind month it’s been! It feels like it passed in the blink of an eye. I had the pleasure of contributing an article to Glass of Bubbly, delving into the fascinating world of secondary fermentation in champagne. If you’re curious, you can find my piece here.

One highlight was attending the Wine Masters press release event for Beaujolais. We had the privilege of discussing and viewing an epic film about the region. Georges Duboeuf, affectionately dubbed the Pope, the King, and the Godfather of Beaujolais, left an indelible mark on the region. His legacy lives on through his grandson, Adrien Duboeuf-Lacombe, who continues to uphold the family’s traditions.

I also participated in the Endeavor Supplier Forum, where I gained valuable insights into industry trends and product innovations through engaging discussions and live Q&A sessions with Endeavor Group leaders. It was enlightening to discover the trending wines and focus areas desired by the Australian market.

Later in the month, I had the privilege of attending the Wine Growth Summit hosted by Wine Communicators of Australia. Rubbing shoulders with some of the most influential figures in the Australian wine industry was truly inspiring. The summit provided a wealth of knowledge aimed at helping wine brands enhance their commercial outcomes and expand their global presence.

The Easter break provided an opportunity for a family road trip along the Great Ocean Road, where we marveled at stunning coastal scenery and made a memorable pit stop in the renowned Coonawarra region. Exploring the cellar doors of Wynns, Rymil, and Hollick Estate was a highlight of the trip.

Overall, it’s been a month filled with wine, exploration, and cherished moments shared with loved ones. Cheers to many more adventures in the world of wine!
